Team BIO:
The NZ Team is very excited to travel and compete at the 2024 World Champs. We would like to extend our thanks to the LOC for all their hard work in putting this event together. Many of our athlete’s have been training in Florida (leaving the NZ cooler spring weather behind), and working with fellow NZ Team member Ben Groen at WBC. This World’s we have a relatively small team with Open and U23 Skier’s competing. Our Open Team includes our most experienced competitor Bevan Kelly (also acting as Team Representative and Driver), Ben Groen (Reining Open Men’s World Champion), Will Leigh (U23 Tricks World Record Holder) and Toby Kelly. Our U23 Skier’s are Will Leigh, Toby Kelly (both cross entering), and our three 18 year olds Emma McKenzie, Mitchell Rush and James McGuire. We also have a small, but loud support crew, who look forward to cheering our NZ skiers on.
