Finally, after a 2-year break, a Barefoot European Championship could be held again.

Our country was represented in Chartres/France by Peter Reitbauer and Stefan Wimmer.

Despite a slight injury sustained in the trick competition, Stafen was able to achieve two third places: narrowly missing out on silver and gold in the slalom, he was unfortunately unable to land his longest jump – but he also came third in the combination.

Unfortunately, Peter wasn’t able to land a jump, but two seventh places in slalom and tricks represent remarkable achievements in what is a fairly large starting field.
